Fedora Linux¶
The Fedora package (.rpm extension) is built and tested with
Fedora version 40. Installation on other .rpm (Red Hat) based
Linux systems may be possible, but remains untested.
The package file can be installed from the command line using:
$ sudo dnf install calypsi-68000-5.16-1.x86_64.rpm
Note
Download the package file to your local file system before installation.
This installs the Calypsi C compiler tool chain in
/usr/local/lib/calypsi-68000-5.16, where 5.16
is the installed version number.
To simplify tool invocation, the installer script adds symbolic links
from /usr/local/bin to the installation directory. Ensure
/usr/local/bin is in your PATH to use the latest the Calypsi tool chain.
The installer also creates a symbolic link from
/usr/local/lib/calypsi-68000 to the installation directory.
This allows referring to the installation without a version number.
Uninstalling¶
To uninstall the Calypsi C compiler tool chain, use:
$ sudo dnf remove calypsi-68000-5.16-1.x86_64
